Sarah Fox is the Senior Director of Sustainable Food Systems for JBS. She is responsible for spearheading JBS North America value chain sustainability initiatives in collaboration with beef, chicken, and pork business units. Her primary focus is on building “upstream” supply chain
programs to benefit agricultural producers along the entire supply chain to address natural resource concerns and improve the productivity and resiliency of JBS’s ag commodity supply
chains. With over 30 years of experience in sustainability, Sarah has dedicated her career to advancing environmental and agricultural initiatives across multiple sectors.
Before joining JBS, she was
the Vice President of Sustainability at Vestaron Corporation and the Global Director, Sustainable Strategic Partnerships and Strategy at Nutrien Ag Solutions. Additionally, she worked for local and federal government in various environmental departments, directed an environmental non-profit, and taught high school science.
She holds a Master of Science in Atmospheric Science and Ecology from SUNY – Albany and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Trinity University in Washington, DC.
