Axel is a dedicated advocate for the circular economy, driving policy development and implementation for the past eight years. With a background in EU and international affairs, he has held leadership roles in various organisations, including a Producer Responsibility Organisation as Head of International and European Affairs and a Foundation focused on circular economy policies.
Currently, Axel serves as an independent consultant for a diverse range of public and private entities. Through his company, “Circulearth,” he provides expert guidance on regulatory analysis, business strategy, and advocacy campaigns to accelerate the global transition to a circular economy model.
Beyond his consultancy work, Axel is committed to knowledge-sharing and capacity-building. He lectures at renowned institutions, including Les Mines ParisTech and Sciences Po Strasbourg, and provides pro bono support to the International Council of Circular Economy for the past five years.
Axel holds advanced degrees in Law and Regulatory Markets from the University Paris Dauphine and EU law from the College of Europe.
