Andrew Murphy is CEO of Oxford Hydrogen, a next-generation climate-tech venture developing systems that pair green hydrogen production with high-value chemical co-products, unlocking new pathways to scalable, profitable decarbonisation.

With over two decades of experience spanning BP, Shell, and multiple international partnerships, Andrew has led major programmes in hydrogen infrastructure, product innovation, and energy systems strategy across Europe, North America, and Asia. His work has shaped national hydrogen roadmaps, investment frameworks, and technology deployments adopted by both industry and government.

A recipient of the APEA Innovation Award, Andrew combines deep technical insight with commercial execution, bridging R&D, policy, and market design. His leadership roles have included Board and Advisory positions with organisations such as the Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Partnership, Southern Green Hydrogen, and numerous clean-energy consortia.

Andrew holds a Ph.D. from the University of Exeter and is recognised as a leading voice in hydrogen innovation, sustainability, and energy transition strategy, regularly contributing to global conferences and expert panels on industrial decarbonisation, clean-tech investment, and next-generation fuels.
