A market for regen: How brands can capitalise on consumer trends to create demand for regenerative

Plenary
Back to agenda

Food and beverage brands have adopted regenerative as the next step towards more resilient, farmer inclusive supply chains. However, a major disconnect remains on the consumer-side. Most consumers haven’t heard of it. They aren’t searching for it. And they’re definitely not asking to pay a premium for it.

Currently, brands are pouring resources into supply-side transformation. But without real demand, is real scale ever going to viable?

This session cuts through the buzzwords and jargon to focus on commercial reality. We explore how leading brands can ditch eco-platitudes and capitalise on existing consumer trends to build a real business case for regenerative:

  • What are the push/pull dynamics of consumer demand currently? Can a mass-market for regenerative realistically be created
  • How can we credibly link regenerative outcomes to consumer priorities for nutrition, health, and wellness
  • How to leverage authentic storytelling to build brand value, secure consumer loyalty, and justify premium market positioning
