Saqib Sohail is a life long learner with a diverse experience of working in different industries as well as educational institutes.

Winner of Ryan Young Climate + Award for practices in sustainable cotton farming and community work. Named in the The Vogue Business 2024 100 Innovators: Sustainability thought leaders and has been part of the UNFCCC Steering Committee.

He has a graduate degree in Textile and Apparel Management from North Carolina State University and an undergraduate degree in Textile Sciences from Textile Institute of Pakistan. He is a published author on the topics of sustainability, productivity management, QMS implementation and fashion design.

Currently working as Head of Engagement at The Microfibre Consortium— bringing 25+ years of fashion and textile industry expertise to help unite the sector in tackling fibre fragmentation.

Saqib brings deep expertise in textiles, management, thought leadership, and co-creation, as well as specialisms in climate action and process innovation. Fostering new collaborations with global brands, manufacturers, and industry stakeholders across the supply chain. Driving meaningful action towards mitigating fibre fragmentation in the fashion and textile industry

Previously, he worked at Artistic Milliners with a focus on ESG, sustainable cotton projects and community programs to create just and equitable supply chains.
